About Anne

I've sold the biggest decision people make.

I'm an introvert. That's not a disclaimer. It's the whole point.

For 15+ years, I led sales in senior living, residential cruising, and luxury hospitality. Different products, same buyer: someone deciding how and where they're going to live next.

It's not a purchase. It's a life transition.

Buyers can feel it when a salesperson treats a life decision like a transaction. Choosing care for a parent, downsizing a family home, or deciding to live at sea comes with fear, family opinions, and a lot of second-guessing.

The salespeople who win in these industries are the ones buyers trust enough to be honest with.

The introvert in the sales director's chair.

I'm not the loud one in the room. I never was. In industries that assume you need to be relentless or larger-than-life to win, I built a $20M+ sales career by listening better, asking questions I actually wanted answers to, and helping people make the right decision, even when that decision was no.

Every one of us is a buyer somewhere in our own life, and every buyer deserves better salesmanship.

No scripts. No pressure tactics. No manufactured urgency.

Why I see the whole picture.

My work in luxury relocation gave me a view most sales leaders don't get: everything that happens around the sale. That includes the downsizing, the family conversations, the second-guessing, and the move itself.

It shapes how I coach teams. Your buyer's decision doesn't start or end with your sales office.

Building something of my own.

I started my sales career in the Philippines. When I moved to the United States, I rebuilt it from zero: new market, no network, and a business culture that wasn't the one I grew up in. I had to learn how to build trust all over again, and I did it the same way I always had: by listening, being honest, and earning it one conversation at a time.

After years of generating revenue and building sales systems for other people's businesses, I asked an obvious question: if I could build this for someone else, why not build it for myself?

What I do now.

I run Anne Alms Consulting full-time. I help senior living operators, residential cruising companies, and luxury hospitality and residence brands sell more through trust.

My method is Buyer Belief™: the four things every buyer has to believe before they'll move forward. When a deal stalls, I find out which one broke down and help your team fix it.

I also work with companies selling into senior living, because I know how operators think, buy, and decide.
